FaithFULL

FaithFULL is a five-week sermon series focused on the faithfulness of God and our call to live lives full of faith. Anchored in Hebrews 10:23, this series reminds us that our hope begins with a faithful God and invites us to respond by trusting Him more deeply in every area of life. Together, we’ll be encouraged to hold fast, live faithfully, and step into all God has for us.

Study Questions

Scripture Reading

  • Hebrews 10:19-25
  • 1 Corinthians 9:24-25
  • Lamentations 3:22-23
  • Hebrews 10:10

Questions

  1. The marathon metaphor
The message compared following Jesus to running a marathon, not a sprint. What season of the “race” do you feel like you’re in right now — and what has helped (or hindered) your faith endurance lately?
  2. "Draw near to God" (v19-22)
What does drawing near to God actually look like in your everyday life right now? Is there one practice or habit you sense God inviting you to deepen or restart in 2026?
  3. "Hold unswervingly to hope" (v23)
Verse 23 says we can hold onto hope because God is faithful. Where do you find it hardest to trust God’s faithfulness—and what helps you keep holding on when circumstances feel uncertain?
  4. Encouraging one another (v24-25)
When have you experienced encouragement from Christian community that genuinely strengthened your faith? How can our life group be more intentional about spurring one another on toward love and good deeds?
  5. Living faithFULL together
Looking ahead to 2026, what is one practical way you want to live a more faithFULL life—personally or as part of this group? How can we support and pray for one another in that?

Scripture Reading

  • Matthew 25:14-30
  • 1 Corinthians 12:4
  • Romans 12:6
  • Ephesians 4:11-13
  • 1 Peter 4:10

Questions

  1. “What’s in your hands right now?”
What gifts, abilities, resources, or opportunities do you sense God has entrusted to you in this season of life?
  2. Which servant do you most relate to in this parable—and why?
Have there been times you’ve stepped out in faith, or times fear, comfort, or uncertainty caused you to “bury” what God gave you?
  3. How does your view of God influence how you use your gifts?
The third servant acted out of fear and a distorted view of the master. How does seeing God as faithFULL change the way we live, risk, and serve?
  4. Who benefits when you use your gifts well?
How do your gifts help build up others, bring unity, or reflect God’s Kingdom (Ephesians 4 / 1 Peter 4)? Can you share a real life example?
  5. What is one concrete next step God might be inviting you to take?
Something small but intentional—serving, giving, learning, stepping out, or saying yes—that helps you live a more faithFULL life this week.

Scripture Reading

  • Matthew 22:34-40
  • Luke 21:1-4
  • Luke 20:45-47
  • Matthew 15:8
  • 1 Samuel 16:7

Questions

  1. Holding onto faith in a “replaceable” world

The sermon began with how easily things (and people) get replaced today.

    • What makes it challenging to stay faithful to Jesus for the long haul in our culture?
    • What practices or relationships help you persevere in faith?
  2. Building up your most holy faith

Jude urges believers to “build yourselves up in your most holy faith.”

    • What are the “structures” or rhythms that help you grow spiritually (e.g., Scripture, prayer, community)?
    • Which of these do you want to strengthen this season?
  3. Staying in God’s presence

The sermon highlighted “keeping yourselves in God’s love” and praying in the Spirit.

    • What helps you stay aware of God’s presence in everyday life?
    • Where do you find it easiest—or hardest—to connect with God?
  4. Supporting others on the journey

Faith is personal but not private; we’re called to show mercy and help others grow.

    • When was the last time someone helped you in your faith journey?
    • Who might God be inviting you to intentionally support or disciple?
  5. Mercy and holiness in tension

Jude calls us to show mercy while also hating sin and avoiding false teaching.

    • How do you navigate the tension between grace and holiness in your own life and relationships?
    • What boundaries or convictions help you stay faithful?
  6. Seeking eternity and the finish line

The sermon reminded us to keep eternity in view and remember the goal.

    • How does thinking about eternity shape your priorities, decisions, and resilience today?
    • What helps you lift your eyes beyond present challenges to the hope of Jesus?

Scripture Reading

2 Corinthians 8:1-12

Questions

  1. Grace as the Starting Point
Paul's basis for generosity is in the grace of Jesus (v9). How does remembering that “everything we have is by God’s grace” shape the way we view our money and possessions? What helps you stay grounded in gratitude rather than entitlement?
  2. Joy in Generosity
The Macedonian church gave out of “extreme poverty” yet with “overflowing joy” (v2–3). What do you think enabled them to give so freely? Have you ever experienced joy through generosity? Share a story.
  3. A Vision Bigger Than Ourselves
Paul invited the Corinthians into something bigger — the Collection for the Saints. Why do you think giving toward a bigger Kingdom vision motivates generosity? How does Clovie’s vision (eg: God Sized Dream and more specifically land for Clovie Gawler) inspire or challenge you personally?
  4. The 3 P’s – Personal Reflection
Priority. Percentage. Progressive. Which of the 3 P’s stretches you the most right now? Why? What practical step could you take this month to grow in that area?
  5. Willing and Sincere Hearts
Paul says, “If the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has” (v12). What do you think it looks like to have a willing and sincere heart in giving? What conversations might you need to have with God (or your family) about your next step?
